North York Sofas Comprehensive Warranty Policy

At North York Sofas, we are committed to providing our customers with quality furniture that blends style with durability. Our comprehensive warranty policy is designed to give you peace of mind, knowing that your purchase is protected against defects in materials and workmanship. 

Labour Warranty – Coverage & Limitations

North York Sofas offers a one-year warranty covering labour and workmanship on all our upholstered furniture. This warranty is valid from the date of delivery to you, the original retail consumer. We guarantee that North York Sofas products will be free from manufacturing and parts defects under normal household use.

Within the first year from the date of delivery, North York Sofas will cover customary labour rates to repair or replace defective parts at no charge to you. After this period, you will be responsible for labour costs. Our commitment under this warranty is limited to repair or part replacement, with shipping charges for furniture becoming applicable after the first year.

The term “defect” refers to a flaw or deficiency that impacts the product’s intended use, and this warranty is exclusively for the original purchaser of North York Sofas.

Parts Warranty

Upholstered Material

North York Sofas’ warranty does not cover damages from improper use, excessive soiling, dye transfer, pet damage, unapproved cleaning methods, chemical treatments, or direct sunlight exposure. These will void the warranty.

• Leather: 1-year warranty against breakage due to defects.

• Bonded Leather & Other Materials: 1-year warranty against breakage due to defects.

• Fabric: 1-year warranty against breakage due to defects.

Frames and Internal Mechanisms

• Wood Frames: 10-year warranty against breakage due to defects.
• Metal Springs: 10-year warranty against breakage due to defects.
• Sofa-beds: 1-year warranty against breakage due to defects covering sofa bed mechanisms and mattresses.

Note: The warranty for frames and internal mechanisms is applicable to the original owner and original delivery address only.

Cushions and Accessories

• Seat Cushion Foam & Fiber-Filled Components: 1-year warranty against collapsing, not including normal softening or changes in shape.
• Accessories: 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects on all optional accessories.

Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.
• Damage from unapproved cleaning methods or exposure to harsh chemicals.
• Alterations or modifications made by the customer.
• Any damage from improper use, commercial use, or lack of care.

Our team will guide you through the process, aiming for a swift and satisfactory resolution.

Authenticity and Quality Guarantee

The special North York Sofas identity tags on your product are guarantees of quality and authenticity. Removal of these tags will void the warranty.
